DPMS Panther Lowers

At the last Indy 1500 in the side room to the left of the door coming in there was a Dealer with a large banner that said:

DPMS Panther I believe. This vendor had DPMS complete lowers for $200.00. Does anybody know if this was an independent vendor or DPMS themselves? Thanks for any info. 1943. Dave

DPMS (out of MN) could not legally sell guns or receivers over the counter at an Indiana gun show.

I know that ZX guns out of goshen has a banner like you describe.
and they are big on DPMS, banner hangs at all the shows they are at, and they are at most shows

Weeellllll, perhaps a clearer way of answering this is yes they could, but in practice manufacturers do not.

If you want to talk to DPMS, I would suggest a trade show such as SHOT, or the Annual NRA Meeting. DPMS has strong Hoosier connections as several Purdue grads are there.
