The problem with the video is he compares the payload of double-barrel .45 to 9mm rounds. While it sounds more impressive that way, it's a bit dishonest.

Still, the concept is interesting.

1 mag of FMJ's for max penetration, and 1 mag of JHP's for max expansion....cant go wrong.

Plus, it cant be much more bulky than a glock....

I think I would rather have dual 1911's rather than 1 with 2 barrels. Its a clever idea, but doesn't seem very practical in my mind.

Interesting concept.....my thought though. One barrel has a FTE, both will get jacked up. I don't like those odds....

I'd rather have 2 guns than 1 with 2 barrels and twice as much chance to have a failure per trigger pull.

Guys, this gun is NOT traditional, it uses a full length guide rod, er, I mean rodS.

My big gripe with it that your mitts would have to be pretty big to grip it properly,but I still want to shoot it . On fence about owning one though,gotta be pricey for a custom holster & weight would be a factor as well. Definitly an open carry weapon

I can make the same thing with two 1911's and some duck tape and be a lot cheaper doing it.
In fact I once made a double barrel Red ryder bb gun the very way I mentioned. I would still have that gun, but got it took away because I shot two holes dads truck.

This is a production ready double barreled semi auto 1911 by Arsenal. My only concern is that if it fires more than one round per pull of the trigger, as it seems is the point here, us mere mortals won't be able to own one.

Upon further review, I watched the video at the second source and there appears to be two triggers. While significantly less cool, this would seem to satisfy the ATF, no?
