do you ever pine for one you sold or traded?
i got rid of a judge this summer that ive regretted ever since. i dont find them practical but was a blast (!) to shoot. thinking i might pick one up some day but looking for one of the raging judge magnums.

i also got rid of my first gun, a NEF 12ga. kinda miss that one.

My first two were stolen. I miss them, the only gun I ever sold I do not regret selling, a Taurus pt/pro (I think that is the model atleast) 9mm.

If I can ever help it I will not sell any of mine again even if I dislike them.

Ruger Mini14 target rifle. Sold it almost 3 years ago and I still miss it. Worst part is that I sold it to my neighbor so from time to time I get to watch him carry it to his car and take it to the range.

Yup, don't do it often (4 times in 50+ years), first was my 22LR - can't remember but believe I sold it in the late 1950's. Probably needed the money, wish I still had it. Second was a Mossberg 500, sold it in the 70's cause I really needed the money. Own another now. Third was Tec 9 - traded it for a surface grinder about 8 years ago. I really didn't care for the gun but my son liked it , bought another this year to replace. Forth was a Jap rifle, that one I don't regret. Bought it 6 or 7 years ago from a LGS took it home cleaned it and found the bore was so bad I wouldn't shoot it - returned it to the shop and traded + a little cash for a shotgun. Have a few guns now - don't ever intend to sell any - just collect.

I had a Ruger P89 I wish I still had. Those guns are built like tanks and it was a great shooter. I also sold my first 12 guage. It was black synthetic 870 express pump gun. I bought it new with both barrels the chokes. I only fired it maybe 3 times. I miss them both.

i had a P91 that i traded along with my judge. the best thing about those ruger pistols - when you ran out of bullets you could use it as a hammer. or a tire iron. or a good weight in the back of your truck on snowy roads. or a frying pan. and they'd still shoot when you cast bullets from bits of the slide.
the safety on mine rusted on safe, took lots of lube to get it cleaned out, and it still shot well. AK of handguns those were.

Nope. Everyone I got rid of I did for a reason. I either moved up in quality as my financial situation improved, I decided I didn't like the gun, or someone I cared about needed it more than I did.

Cars, on the other hand, man there's some of those I wish I'd held on to.

Been buying, selling, trading guns for 44 years......long guns, short guns, shotguns whatever.....only regret was a 70's Colt Combat Cmndr in brushed stainless...sweet piece gone forever. I guess if one really wanted to, they could just buy it back.

A Llama .45. I know it's not at the top of the list but this one was a charm. I added new grips, springs, larger mag release, and saftey. The GS mentioned how smooth it was.
