Do I need a LTCH if getting a Utah license?

I have a LTCH and soon am going to class for Utah license. My girl has just started really getting into shooting with me, and wants to get a license. I was wondering if she could just skip the Indiana fees and process if she is going to do the Utah class with me?

Indiana residents must have a LTCH to carry a handgun in Indiana.

The Utah non-res CFP does NOT suffice for residents; it only comes into play when you're in another state that doesn't recognize Indiana's LTCH.

I just completed the the non-resident Utah class. They will not issue any LTC without having LTC from your home state.

Just renewed my Utah permit. I had to include a copy of my Indiana permit with the expiration date showing. I noted that my permit was good for life and no expiration date was on permit.

See how much easier things are for Illinois gun owners. When I got my Utah and also renewed it I didn't have to send a copy of my Illinois carry permit. Jim.
