I have bought several new pistols that were filthy. I think they were test fired, sighted and stuffed in the box. Lazy on there part I guess.

I'm fine with a new pistol coming a little dirty. I'd prefer them to test fire the piece and if they cleaned it, how would I know it had been test fired?

The scratches kill the deal with me. People must just pick them up and dry fire them and then drop them on the ground.
