So when i first started on this site i had a SW40VE"sigma", and discovered really quickly it wasnt a high quality gun, so i traded it in on a SW99, and this weekend the gun show was in town and was able to get an even up trade on a nice Glock 22 with night sites.

It's always fun to trade to get something different! There will come a time though when you like what you have so much, that you keep it. THen you have to simply get ANOTHER gun and the BEAST has been unleashed!! :)

    Enjoy your new gun!

What was it about the Sigma that made you not enjoy it? I've never even handled one so I'm not a defensive fan boy or anything :P I'm just curious.

The trigger on the Sigma is :poop:, and most will agree with me. Almost like compressing a wet sponge.

    Indeed.

I don't own one, but I've put several hundred rounds through a friends Sigma. Crappy triggers don't really bother me, but only because I'm used to it. Shot a Glock the other day and it almost scared me, with it's 4 lb trigger pull lol.

I have had nothing but 9mm Glocks for15+ years. Made the mistake of shooting a G22 that a friend owns. Now I "need" a G22 myself. Sometimes I hate my friends. :)

ya i sold one gun i owned and regretted it ever since. now i just buy. i want a collection as a investment. i ddnt wana trade-buy-regret trade type thing. now i just keep-buy-keep-buy. i was once told, much like a tattoo, that after u get one ur gna get another, and another, and another. no truer words hav been spoken. but like i said to me its an investment. if god forbid i need cash quick i can always reach into my safe, but lets hope not.

I have 2 Glock 23's and love them. My gen 3 had over 5000 rds and looks brand new, never one miss feed, eats everything! I would guess to say that if you keep her clean she will last forever.
