I'm nearly done with the pilot and am already hooked. Hoping it's going to continue to be good. I like kiefer but admittedly I only really know him from 24.

the speech writer guy is actually a democrat speech writer for Obama. Go figure.

I watched the first several episodes. I had high hopes but I just don't like Kiefer's character. He is just too weak.

He is weak, but they seem to be developing him into a more aggressive guy. Though this last episode had him questioning himself a little more than what is comfortable. It has lots of twists, which I like.

I liked the first 2 episodes, but it's gotten weaker as it's gone on (IMO). Wife stopped watching it. I may give up soon if it doesn't turn around.

Agreed, it went downhill fast. I gave it up after 2nd or 3rd episode. Couldn't hardly take the military head bad guy stereotype.

I don't think the char is weak at all. He suddenly went from Sec HUD policy wonk to President. He is not used to having or handling power and is cautious and feeling his way as he learns the job. I think he is very realistically written and I sure would hope that if that scenario really happened the new Prez would not suddenly start lobbing bombs in the general direction of the middle east.

I loved first couple episodes, finding myself trying to stay interested now. And I am struggling with Kiefer's "whisper voice"

Yeah, once he announced his first 100 days agenda I quit watching. Disappointing

why is it every time we have a republican in the White House we are given a major network TV show about a hugely liberal president?
