Meh, my opinion is that they aren't here and never were. My son asked me what I based that on and I told him that all over the world today people have good quality cameras on their persons most every waking hour, where's the increase in good pictures from earlier years?

Altho "UFO" is literally "unidentified flying object", it long ago morphed into "alien space ships that the government isn't telling us about." So had to come up with a new way to say "something moving around the sky but we don't know what it is."

My bets are on Lockheed having been working on some really cool, fast drones.

Lights on aircraft are a safety mandate by the FAA. No reason why alien spacecraft should have or use them. If you see lights at night it's one of ours. Of course it's when you don't see anything that you should be concerned...

The video's been out there, the Navy confirmed it was real. They've now just officially released it. What they released is what everybody has already seen.

If they are coming here from another place in the galaxy it must be for comic relief; if it were for any other reason we'd already be their slaves or on their table for dinner. Our manned space flight programs don't have higher orbits than they did in the early '60's and we have no current heavy launch vehicles to change that. We could get taken down by the alien equivalent of The Three Stooges.

Maybe the alien life forms are simply trying to comply with the prime directive. No interference in the lesser life forms normal development.
