to the officer for quick thinking. Hopefully the family of the deceased won't try their hands at a civil suit.
Good luck finding a lawyer to take that case on. Shootings don't get much more clearcut that this one!
What I find halarious is once the cop starts shooting the SUV never changes direction untill it goes off road and hits a light pole or something........ Glad he hit him and did not emty a clip and not hit him at all.
Yeahhh. Teddy Bears don't have a reputation by everyone to keep away from whiskey, or that whole trying to shoot a cop thing. Everyone's an angel once they hit room tempThane was a big teddy bear who had a heart of gold.
Count again. The Officer only fired 14 rounds.I counted 16 rounds from the 5-0
Just a hypothetical. In a similar situation,do you think would this be ruled a "clean shoot" for non-LEO?
Would the hypothetical non-LEO have video footage to back up his story?
After watching the video again I want to armchair quarterback this some more...
The officer should have put a fresh mag in it, you know he rolled back up on the bg with only 1-2 rounds left, the guy could have been waiting on him...
The story says that when he got back in his car, he rolled up with his rifle. Didn't see him reload. Wonder when he realized he'd dropped 14 rounds? He said he thought he'd only fired 6 or 8. This is not at all uncommon, btw.
