I just heard on 60 minutes that Cyber Monday orders placed on Amazon will be 300 per second

300 items per second
18,000 items per Minute
1,080,000 items per Hour
25,920,000 items in 24 hours

Maybe tomorrow's sales will help them at least head towards making a profit.

Depending on if they have cameras or not, will be the factor if they become targets or not. But if they are delivering gun parts, I'll just wait to shoot until they drop off my packages.

Like the above link. If you live within about a 10 miles from a delivery hub and the package weights 5 lbs or less they will have a drone drop it on your door step with in a few hours. however he did say they are about 5 to 7 years away from implementing the drones.

I saw it too. I think he said 86% of the stuff they sell is under 5 pounds which is what the drones can carry. It's the most interesting new idea I've seen in a while.

Those numbers are mind boggling. And healthcare.gov still can't handle more than 3 at once....

I work at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in southern Indiana and all I can say is this overtime check is going to be worth it! I both love and loathe working there at Christmas time.
