Recently read a BBC article online. The Uk, according to the article was the most violent place iñ the world. Moreso even than Zuid Afrika, which I'm assured is no picnic. Posting from phone right now, will link to article when I have PC access.

Hmm. It's a little dated, and I misrepresented the article, though not intentionally. They were the most violent place in Europe, though still more violent than South Africa as I had mentioned. 2,034 incidences of violent crime per 100,000 residents. I also just finished up a paper, and used England as an example. In the year 2000 there were 1 million robberies in the UK. A million robberies in one year, in a country with 20% of our population.

    Anyway, here's the article.
The most violent country in Europe: Britain is also worse than South Africa and U.S. | Mail Online
