Don't discount Springfield. If you can find a XDm 45, it's a sweet shooter. 9 rounds in the compact mag and 13 in the extended (with the matching grip sleeve).
I owned a g21 gen 2, which is double stacked and has a big grip. Then got a g21 gen4, which is also double stacked and has a big grip. Then got the g30, which again is double stacked so big grip.Kicking around the idea of a Glock (my first) as an occasional secondary carry weapon. The Glock19 Gen 5 seems like a solid choice, but might want something besides another 9mm. Looking for thoughts on the various Glock .45 models. Full size, compact, single stack, double stack, 30,36,21,41,etc.
Well, I object and bring out the big guns, well . . . the big beard.45ACP good
45 GAP not so much

I’d like to give the g36 a try. Single stacked so might be fun.
Double stack 45 feels a lot larger in the hands than a 1911 or even double stack 9mm.I have a 36 and a 30, the 36 feels better in hand and conceals much better.
Neither one is huge but the single stack makes a difference.
