we have no business in Syria. Russia,Iran and China are backing Syria. So do we really want to take on these 3 nations. There is no good outcome here. Sure Assad is not a good guy but 0bama is supporting the "freedom" fighters who want Sharia law. I am not really sure which would be worse but let Allah sort it out. America needs to stay out of this mess!! we cant afford this nor is the out come going to be in our favor.

Russia, China, nor the US want war with one another over Syria, it just plain aint happening. It is/or will be a proxy war at most, Iran ands its interests are irrelavant when compared to the aforementioned countries.

Liberals have a funny way of thinking at times. They seem to support overthrowing the brutal dictator Assad. However, Assad would be considered a "progressive" relative to politics in the Arab World. Women had more freedoms under Assad then they would with an Islamist takeover. Funny how easily some are duped.

Agreed all the way around. Assad is less bad and we have nothing to gain by picking a pissing contest with the above-mentioned countries when even 'winning' leaves us worse off than we otherwise would be.

If one side represented some substantial liberty/freedom movement in the country, I could see providing some support. Here, neither side falls into that category. Neither side is likely to be a reliable ally of the US. We just have no reason to get involved in this fight.
