I've only been to Florida couple times for work, only once for vacation, it was taking my wife's niece to Disney many years ago.
For you folks know the area, how is the weather down there around Thanksgiving? Thinking about taking my boys(11 and 13yo) down there the weekend before, drive back day before or on TG. They love beaches and sand.
My wife planned a trip for all of us to Scotland for the said niece's graduation, she's getting her Master's Degree. But I found out what Scotland is like in the late fall, cold, wet, expensive and nothing to see. Then the boys and I backed out, wife is happy to go by herself.
I have had my PTO's approved already, boys were excused by their schools, and couple grand travel expense saved.
I'd like to find a place right on the beach, bring my Blackstone to grill some stake and burger.
