I still want to CC carry at work. I was just playing devil's advocate and throwing out another circumstance to see if that changes anyone's mind
Yeah, I wasn't really sure what he was getting at, either. After your change of direction I'm confused about what you are trying to figure out.
Apparently he'd just let them wander around with a gun in hand if they are only going to just take things...BAM...that was them just shooting you, taking your life. WhoopsThen I wouldn't treat any different then other situations. If someone comes into your home you assume they are willing to do you harm.
If you do it, KEEP your mouth shut lest you'll end up unemployed. Do whatever you need to do to keep eating (ie staying alive and having a job)
That's the chance that you can take with your life...but I'm not relying on the kind-heartedness of armed robbers.
I disagree. I would be willing to put most robberies that turn into shootings, the robber had no intentions of shooting his weapon once. What made him fire shots was the sudden change of plans, aka someone such as CC or police pulling a weapon on the robber.
No way I would have left one in the car there, though. One of my coworkers got the spare tire stolen off the back of her jeep in broad daylight while we were working. The tweakers would steal anything.
Gotta dress business casual, which means a tucked in shirt. Hiding a gun would be pretty tough.
I would say Thanks for noticingThat bulge in my waistband? ... Safety equipment. It's for my job. Very technical. You wouldn't understand.
