Carry Gun on my Harley

I just got my first Harley and i'm look for some ideas on what other people carry when they are on there bikes,
I normally carry a colt 1991 compact .45 or a 6 inch smith .357, but thinking about a Keltec or a PPK?:

Since I carry my Keltec PF9 every day, that's what I carry when I ride.

I'd be interested if anyone has found a good way to conceal the weapon on a bike, yet make it "reachable" when needed.

I saw some guy speeding down i-65 with a large framed Glock on a Crotch Rocket. I'd prolly do that, too.

I was relay thinking that I was needing a new pistol (something smaller) but your right I’m comfortable with my colt, I just need to find a holster to fit my needs.

I would say it all depends on your riding position and your handle bars, but I can't see how you can have issues with carrying your 1991. Whether you OC or CC and drive with your gun, it seems you can be even more comfortable with your EDC on a bike.

I've seen plenty of guys on harleys with shin holsters/boot holsters. as far as CC on a Harley, I don't think it would be too hard if you've got a big enough jacket.

I would suggest carry what you normally do and don't worry about it.

I had sixteen inch apes, gun never bothered me.

When I used to ride, I always carried in a shoulder holster, and I always wore my leathers. That seemed to me to be the most comfortable, easy way to conceal while riding.

I would have to agree with the stick to what you know mentallity. And add you should definatly make sure the holster you choose has a great retention mechanism to keep your firearm secure....

When riding and carrying with any motorcycle you must carry corresponding with the technology of the machine your riding!

So for a Harley...
