guns with active recalls i.e Ruger LCP/SR9? Just curious from those FFLers out there. Was down in Evansville at Gander Mountain and salesman told me they will not sell any LCPs that fall under the re-call. Just wondering if this is a company policy or a legal issue that applyies to everyone. By the way, how about those Gander Mountain prices?...YIKES!

Gander Mtn prices suck - but since I know the gun dept. manager I can normally sell for a profit to them - but buying from there? No thanks.

Must be a company policy - while the SR9 was having a recall dealers in my area were selling them and letting the buyer know about what was going on.

Dealers should not sell a gun if it has an active recall, they should send the gun back to the manufacture for recall work and then sell it. This would be the right thing to do.
