By what appears to be a select fire lever on the rear of the slide. How do you know it's select fire?
The markings are obscured by that bad ugly rail thingy.
And you can't even see the left side of the slide.
I am so glad people have enough respect for 1911s not to do that to them.
Why oh gods why?
I was referring to the rape the 1911's were receiving on that link provided above my comment.
Call me a doubter, but I don't think that is a select fire lever.By what appears to be a select fire lever on the rear of the slide.

While you are correct on knowing the location of the factory switch on the Model 18 (on the side), there are aftermarket switches/levers available that replace the back plate of the slide. These replacement back plates are evidenced in the pictures provided in my previous post. If you look at the picture in the original post, you will see that it appears too small to be a Model 18. This means it was probably fitted with an aftermarket select fire switch/lever, and would be located on the rear of the slide and not the side.Call me a doubter, but I don't think that is a select fire lever.
It may be some butchered up illegal switch but it's not factory.
Just because I don't know what it is doesn't mean I don't know what it's not.
The factory Glocks have a select fire on the side of the slide.
