had one , nice rifle , mechanically sounds and no issues , just left me wanting more at the end of the day , if its your first ar15 i'd get one (probably not from gander mountain) , if its not , save a little and get something a bit nicer
I got one on a trade a month ago. No problems with it.
I've only put 160 rds through it. Shoots fine, functions have been 100% with mixed ammo mags to make sure it will eat anything I throw in it.
My only drawback to it is the lack of interchangeability of parts on it.
Shoots well out to 150 yds with 7" groups of mixed ammo (not shot any distance with it) and factory sights. I think it will shoot a lot tighter with good ammo.
Overall satisfied with it but it's not in the same league with my Colts and Armalite.
160 rds is NOT a fair or adequate test but so far so good.
Thanks for the info.
Allways wanted an AR and saw that one on sale.
Think I'll wait abit and get a nicer one. Anyway I need a new
Pistol first, thanks again for the input...
I know it will be harder to find, but I think the M&P 15 Sport from Smith & Wesson would be a better value. From what I have heard it would be better quality for a similar price.
