Not a problem for me since I never eat there but if I did I would just carry in my purse like I mostly do anyway. Yes I know that would be breaking their rule but like I said I do not eat there anyway.
Good thing that these "rules" don't exist unless you signed an agreement before eating there
You don't have to sign an agreement to be guilty of trespassing. I'd be interested to hear from one of our attorneys on the idea that a well-worded sign at the door WOULD put you in violation of trespassing laws and subject to arrest without further warning.
That's actually been discussed in another ongoing thread or perhaps earlier in this one. The thought was that a sign that said in effect "if you are carrying a gun in violation of our establishments rules then you are trespassing and appropriate legal action will occur". Quotes are to highlight the phrase but it is a loose paraphrase at best.
I don't remember if this was state specific but the way the law was written the sign carried weight if worded correctly.
The Bdubs with the sign...have you tried to OC there?

Wings Etc.,
I would like to thank you for your company's position on firearms and the
constitutional right to carry them lawfully. It has come to my attention as of
late that one of your competitors has started placing signs banning those
legally carrying a firearm from their establishment, in the name of "safety". It
is ironic to me that they think a sign will prevent those that are unsafe from
carrying a firearm on their premesis. It is companies like yours that will
continue to do well as American society realizes that you are safer with someone
carrying a weapon with the intent of protecting themselves and if necessary
others. More and more people are seeing these signs for what they really are, an
invitation to enter and an assurance of a safe work environment for
criminals.
Thank you again,
Ban Buffalo Wild Wings ....Refuse to eat there ...see now isn't that simple ......problem solved .
