Complaints over gun law follow Obama on tour - Travel- msnbc.com

"There is still time for Congress and the president to take steps to keep loaded firearms away from the valleys of Yellowstone, the cliffs of Yosemite, and the Statue of Liberty — but they need to act quickly," said Paul Helmke, president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

Ok. Looked at the guy. Is he a clone of George Soros or what?

One thing I failed to mention in that forum, was the fact that Japan has a very low rate of gun ownership, yet has one of, if not the highest suicide rate on the planet.

Japan's suicide rate is higher than our suicide and homicide rates combined. Since suicide counts as "violent death" that means that Japanese people, in Japan, are more likely to suffer a violent death than Americans in America.

Just more grist for the mill.

Just got home! I actually went in and listened and asked questions.

First, let me say that channel 13, 11pm, you'll see my not so smiling face on the tube. I'm VERY sorry if I sounded stupid, I've never been on TV before. I'm the guy in the Blue NRA shirt. I hope I don't sound stupid. I really really really hope I don't sound stupid.

don't worry too much. they'll only take 7 or 8 seconds (one thought) from your entire interview. but, depending on the reporter - it'll either be the smartest or dumbest thing you could have said.

(at least they used a GREAT gun for the intro picture to the piece, lol) :D

Thanks. Video is uploading. I just wish they hadn't cut me off and I wish they showed more of us. I don't like hogging the spotlight. I wasn't even planning to be on camera.

    Interesting camera angle though.
