    Being in the hardwood lumber business, I can tell you that you have some good info here. More then likely, being a yard tree, it isn't close to the grade needed to be veneer. Chances are, once you would get it loaded and hauled to a mill to sell it, it would be a wash. We buy logs off of people that bring them in, not many, but some. Sawing 11-12 million feet a year, a single tree here and there is a drop in the bucket.
