When I was a kid Grandpa would always have a bag or 2 of those Scotties around. Probably where I got a taste for licorice. One of my favorites, especially the one that comes shaped like Scottish Terriers.

Rural King usually has black jelly beans and black licorice whips.Hard to find black licorice around here. Use to get a few bags of black licorice jelly beans about Easter but can't find them anymore. The last bag was black jelly beans, no licorice to them. Get very few of them in a bag of Classic jelly beans. Black licorice and black licorice jelly beans aren't the same.
I was going to recommend that myself. Iodine candy! Great stuff! For all the licorice lovers here, if you get the chance try a piece or 2 of salty (salmiakki) licorice.I like to nibble on some when I've got the Finns or Swedes out, adds to the authenticity. It'll clear you out if you've got some chest congestion going on. And if you like Ouzo or Jager, Salmiakki Koskenkorva might be just up your alley.
Good to see I'm not the only one here who likes it!I was going to recommend that myself. Iodine candy! Great stuff!
Aussy stuff ain't that good. The Swedes and Norwegians have some great stuff though.Pic no worky...
That seems unfair to anuses everywhere.I always pronounce it "anus flavor" to annoy people. 30% of the time, it seems to work all of the time.
