There are biometric safes (either buttons or fingerprints) that many people store their guns in overnight (ex: Barksa). I'm not aware of any such locks that would go directly on the gun. Why would you want one? If the gun is out of the safe, it should be on you and under your control.
I am doing a speech on it. I know I have control over it I just am making sure I get the right info before I talk about it in class and everyone on here knows everything about guns. Thanks guys
Reminds me of a video that required a proximity card to release a gun from a holster... I'm not sure if its something I'd really like to see. Just more things to fail when you need them most. But sure, on a safe I wouldnt mind. As long as its not time critical. I have biometric on my work computer, and if I handle a soft drink can long enough, it wont read my finger. Always annoying.
