The reasons for a South American retreat are more than the collapse of America. For the past several years I've been going to WV and training as a white water rafting guide one weekend a month during the season. The company I work for has a location in CR and an affiliate in Belize. Several of the other guides have been there and their stories are interesting.

The European spots are based on my own experiences in those countries.

I'm not independently wealthy but I've been making six-figures for the last 23 years and also invested heavily in gold/silver pre-2000. I'll retire at 56 years old, I've taken care of myself physically and I intend to enjoy life to the fullest.

Don't get me wrong, I love my place out here amongst the corn but I'm outta here as soon as I'm able.
