I'm still not sure why someone would pick this over a sig 2022. The 2022 is also a da/sa polymer with a hammer, and it's right at the same price point.
To each their own, but I would get the sig 2022 over the px4.
I have the .40 and love it. I have only put around 500 rounds through it it over a year, but have just noticed a lot of wear on the bottom portion of the chamber end of the barrel. I don't know what would be causing it, but I didn't notice it affecting the way the gun shot.
I have the subcompact, and absolutely love it. I had the full size, sold it, regret it, and will buy another one. One of my favorite pistols on the market.
I have the compact 9mm. I bought it because I was used to the 96 I have. It shoots anything I've tried yet. (about 1000 rounds)
I'm not sure why, but I can shoot better with the PX4 than the 96. I am really happy with it. I will probably have it for a long time since I RARELY trade.
It seems like everyone seems to like PX4 overall. I am in the market for a new CCW and was leaning toward the S&W Shield, but was also considering the PX4 and the S&W M&P9c. I have a Kel-Tec P11 that I don't like very well so am looking for something different.
