Beech Grove and the Japanese American internment
Older folks i have talked to say..
The train yard in Beech Grove was used once as a depot for the Japanese American internment which refers to the forcible relocation and interment of approximately 110,000 Japanese Nationals and Japanese Americans to housing facilities called "War Relocation Camps" during the height of Pearl Harbor.
they were used untill 1944 or 45
