My Border collie got a nice groundhog this evening. It had been living under the back deck for a while, and every time the dog would go out, she'd run to the spot where the thing was getting under the deck. I think the thing was toying with her for a long time, but she finally got it tonight! It was pretty mangled by the time I got out there, or I woulda cleaned it and thrown it in the freezer. Daughter was pretty upset, she saw the whole thing happen. Dog is very proud, and got a piece of bbq chicken for her efforts.
