I agree about less people knowing. An uncle asked me to read it after the last election and asked me the same question. I was floored at the fact I was seeing it all around. And yet not many people ever talked about this book.Sometime I feel it should be required reading.
Other times, I'd rather less people know... what Sun Tzu knew... because I now know.
It's available at the public library as an ebook. I'm reading now in firefox. At one time I had access to download a free book from maybe apple.
I downloaded art of war and it still is on every device I own.
Thanks for that. Will check it out.I also recommend going through Col. Boyd's materials. Sadly, there are no recordings of his presentations, and his best work was in the age of overhead projector view foils. Much of the presentation materials however were captured by some of his acolytes and present a trove of some of his material. There are also second order materials from those he taught at the link.
I'll have to check it out. Thanks.
That is because, all warfare is based on deception. If one is weak, represent strength. If one is strong, appear weak.
Paraphrasing something like that...
Still quite trueSeems to be an appropriate quote on this day.
“There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare.”
