My new Bushmaster XM15-E2, nastiest grittiest trigger pull I have ever felt. Put a dab of polishing compound on the sear and cycled it about 30 times and it smoothed right out. Also waiting on a new buffer tube (receiver extension) going to put an A1 stock on it, not a huge fan of telescoping stocks.

Where are you getting your A1 stock from? I've been wanting to put an A1 stock on my 6920, but have only found the A2s.

Here is my Bushmaster with the A1 stock installed.
    FYI,
In addition to the short A1 stock screw you will also need an A1/A2 receiver extension and a rifle length buffer spring. the shorter spring that comes in the telescoping stock is too short for the A1/A2 receiver extension and fails to cycle the bolt correctly.

What about the rifle length buffer?

Well I didn't know if the rifle buffer made a difference or not, so I just put a rifle buffer in mine. It functions perfectly with either the rifle or carbine buffer, the rifle buffer is quieter (less sproing) and produces less (for lack of a better word) "recoil". I am keeping the rifle buffer in mine for now, if I have any issues with it I'll be sure to share them with the group.
