What upper are you going to run?
This is what I have so far. I have a mount, and streamlight that'll be here tomorrow, possibly some magpul rail covers, and I'm still looking for a good deal on a small red dot. Then I'll be pretty much done.

How do you like the grip on the Mag well. Is it something you use in regular usage or more of a tactical use piece. I have seen them but never used one. Just curious.
I love it, honestly. To me it provides a much more natural grip than the rail mounted ones. It places your hand at weapon center, which always seemed like a better place from a maneuverability standpoint. But, I learned to hold my M-4 at the mag well in AIT, and it's always just felt right. I wouldn't even have the grip pod, but it's more aesthetically pleasing, less complicated, and provides a sturdier base than any of the sub $100 bipods that I've seen. Plus the "push button deploy" is pretty badass IMHO lol
On a side note, be prepared to dremel out a bit on the inside of the mag well funnel of the grip. It was so tight that it would retain the magazine. But 5 minutes later, and it drops free it should.
The Delton:
Does the Del-Ton have the rifle length gas system? If so, how reliable is it?
Buy it with confidence if you're considering one.
+1 I've seen a lot of people smack talk Del-Ton, and most of it is from "I've got a buddy who", or "You get what you pay for". It's ridiculous. I've had Del-Tons that I've ran close to 100k rounds through without ever having a single issue. Best "bang for your buck" as far as I'm concerned. Mine is a bedside rifle as well. Newest build has had 5k rounds of nothing but steel cased wolf without a hitch.
The Del-Ton does have the rifle length gas system and a heavy barrel profile. /snip
