Any Makarov fans here?

I have an E German Mac and a CZ82, both good guns and either would be a good choice for someone who doesn't like a lot of recoil. My only complaint about the Makarov is the slide mounted safety, 1911s have me in the habit of holding my thumb on top of the safety, if you dont keep your thumb down, the Mac will take a chunk of skin off of your knuckle.
