So after a little nap I wake to the entire house smelling of bacon. My wife says she made a couple of salads for supper. She took a few pictures of the process.

Needless to say it was the best salad ever :)

We where both still hungry and she is a bacon mood for sure and cooked these up a few minutes ago...

Very good, but needed to cool.I have a blister in the roof of my mouth from blazing hot cheese(I know it was the cheese,it is not possible for bacon to harm you) and yes that is steak and cheese wrapped in bacon.

Steak and cheese wrapped in bacon...now you're talkin'! :yesway: That's almost as good as bacon wrapped in bacon...almost.

OK, I can't resist. I'm making one of those salads tonight.

Will you ask her wife what temp and how long she cooked the "bowls?" I've never cooked bacon in the oven.

400 for 40 minutes.Half way through flip them over.More overlap is better. If you have to little the bowl will just fall apart.

Damn, 40 minutes? What do you mean flip them over?

My weave is done and I used an entire pound for one bowl. I'm a health nut like that.

She made a bowl mode using a measuring cup.Cover the cup with aluminum foil.Wrap the bacon over the foil, then remove the measuring cup.

So you have bacon wrapped over foil(upside down bowl).Half way through cooking flip it right side otherwise either the top or bottom will over cook.

OK, that's what I thought you meant, I was just making sure...After 20 minutes, the bacon will be firm enough to not fall off of the aluminum?

I used a salad bowl for my mold.

    Pics in 40 minutes.:D

Yep she says after 20 minutes you should be ok to turn it over with out it falling apart.I will catch the pictures in the morning off to get some rest.

    Bacon dreams for all...

This isn't working out as I had hoped. LOL

The bowl just flattens then I try to turn it over. I'ma give it 10-15 more minutes in the oven and if it doesn't stiffen up, I'm just going to have a salad with a LOT of bacon on top.
