Unless I'm mistaken about laws, I almost screwed up.
I have a gun for sale on Arms, and was contacted by a potential buyer. We negotiated a deal and was supposed to be picked up tomorrow. While at work i realized i forgot to ask the legal q's. So I asked for him to show me IN drivers to verify age/IN resident when we meet and if legal to purchase handguns.
His response was: "I have my carry permit but am only 20, i can bring a friend that's 21 if that helps?".
My response:"I'm sorry, i can't sell you the gun knowing it's for someone under the age of 21."
His classic kid response:" Well I've bought numerous guns and have the right to carry. Fine, keep it."
Was I right in not selling to someone under 21? It was a handgun.
