18 as the others have said but you have to be 21+ to be able t buy a handgun. A parent/guardian can buy a handgun and GIFT it to you if under 18.

Correction: You have to be 21 to buy a handgun from an FFL. You can still buy one in a face-to-face transaction at the age of 18.

I'll support/back this up. You can buy a handgun private party/face-to-face at 18.

Yep 21 from an FFL and 18 in private,

But to answer your question, 18 for the license to carry, I'd also hurry up and get that if possible.
