    It's gone now, without clearing cache or rebooting. I'm wondering now if it was only that 1 thread I was in that had the issue, because I haven't seen it since I posted this thread...

    There are vulnerabilities in all software. Microsoft probably had updates every week.
    Well generally once a month overall, but the Edge browser is based on Chromium so you will generally see Chromium updates for Chrome (Google) and Edge regularly and they update on their own schedule outside of the OS.
