In all reality, it appears that there are many on this forum that are fine with the carnage. The evidence of that is the fact that they fight so hard against literally any change in gun laws.
Some facts:
Outside of the United States, there have been 25 school shootings in the the last 20 years - total, world-wide. There have been 25 in the United States in the last 35 days.
The United States was recently downgraded to the most dangerous country in the industrialized world to be a youth. Between increasing infant mortality, youth driving deaths, schools shootings and a myriad of other reasons.
Finally, there have been approximately 239 US school shootings since Sandyhook Elementary school in 2012. There are on average 5 shootings per month.

You are really comparing apples to oranges. MOST countries underreport school shootings and/or have totally different definitions of what a "school shooting" is and is not, compared to the US politicized news media. Take a look at the myriad of US "school shootings" and you will see these beauties in that list: numerous accidental discharges of security personel's weapons, a child fired a pellet gun at a school, lots of after hours drug activity shootings in school parking lots, lots of other non school related shootings and accidental dicharges in school parking lots, etc.
