    Very interesting, indeed. Good find :)

    Does anyone remember those decals that used to be on the gas pumps that actually told you how much tax you were paying per gallon? IIRC, those stickers showed the consumer that about $.40 of every dollar spent on fuel went to the State and Federal Government directly. This didn't even account for the income tax the station owner and the oil companies payed.

    I wrote a paper about this in my Econ class at IUPUI, arguing the claim that oil companies were making "Windfall" profits. I in turn used Apple as a real case of it. Teacher was less than impressed but gave me an A none the less.

    That article illustrates perfectly why I say there is no such thing as a private business and as such they have no "private property" rights.
