I will have to find the link, but I read something in the last few days about that survey.

The question asked was something like "Do you want to restrict guns from the hands of criminals and mentally unstable people"? Of course almost everyone said yes. I'm surprised it wasn't 99%. They must have received 90% yes.

Then they reported the survey as 90% want Background Checks. The Liberals believe that Checks will keep the guns out of the hands of the Criminals and Mentally Unstable.

The catch is, we already have background checks and expanding them would have done nothing to prevent the massacre at Sandy Hook nor the the incident in Aurora. But it's a feel good measure they can live with until the next massacre then we will all be expected to give up something else and then something else until it's all gone. It has to stop here. There has to be a more effective way of preventing massacres than everyone giving up their Second Amendment rights.

I'm of the mind the background checks has done nothing to prevent violent criminals and the mentally insane from acquiring firearms if they so desire. Why even hassle the rest of us with this silly BS.

Control the words and you control the message.

This needs to be debunked publicly before the masses of sheeple begin to accept it as fact.

87.4 percent of all statistics are, in fact, made up right there on the spot, without any supporting data.

Communist News Network, CNN reported that their poll indicated that 52% of Americans disapprove of the President's approach on gun control while only 41% were in favor.

You gotta be making that one up. No way Cnn would report a majority disapprove of anything the president does.

those that disapprove of his handling could mean they don't think he is moving fast enough or doing as much as he should

    thats a very slippery question

    Your absolutely right.
It's like people who fight over words (ex:em's fight'in words) and resort to violence or other frivolous behavior over it. Before you know it, we will loose the freedom to even mumble.

Such surveys are virtually always bogus.

The ONLY way that anyone could accurately arrive at a "90%" figure is if they polled 100% of adults in the country.

Seen any surveys with a sample size of, say 250 million?

    Didn't think so.

    What do Americans really think?

Gee, I don't know, lets use a poll that only includes those who will take action.

    Wow, how shocking.
