I have had a few copies of the Remington 1858 over the years but it’s been awhile since I’ve played with one. I have an original that my grandfather bought back in the 60’s. Well, that changed recently as I picked up a pair of older Navy Arms imports. Looks like they were both built in 1977 by Pietta. Got them Home and cleaned the old grease out of them (seller said he hadn’t shot them in around 20 years). They are both nice and slick. Good bore and chambers and cylinder locks up very tight on both. Looking forward to getting them to the range and making some smoke!
