I've never gotten one...I should. Stop bragging about your gold CCW badge.I have one. Fortunately I also have a shiny gold (concealed carry) badge but who knows if I would still face consequences for shooting.

What the State of Ohio doesn't know won't hurt them.
TIL about LEOSA.
TIL?
Today I learned.
I guarantee no one whining about the death of the gorilla loved it any more than those who had to shoot it.
...what separates the animals from the people on the sidewalk?
Bad situation, good shoot. If you think there is a stink about shooting the gorilla, imagine the ****storm that would be happening if they didn't kill the gorilla and the gorilla killed the child.
The zoo was screwed as soon as the kid landed in the water. They did a good job keeping it from turning out even worse. Besides, the gorilla belonged to the zoo in the first place. It's not like they went out and shot someone else's gorilla.
As to the suitability of the enclosure, children, like goats, are hard to fence.
The armchair quarterbacks probably will never even think of that.
Isn't it the zoo's responsibility to make itself idiot proof?
