.45 HD gun

I have a 21 and a 30 and 3 1911's and now I have a XD 45 good bye 30 Love the feel of the XD

I would shoot both - you will find a huge difference in ergonomics. Capacity not a big issuein my opinion as you can keep a spare mag (If 9 is not enough). The 1911 wins my vote

Glock 27!!! its small and can really kick butt!! plus you can add a finger extension for a full grip.

I have been thinking of getting another gun for HD(Glock 22) but I already have the Sig 229 .40 and a 1911 and feel completely secure using either. I would go with the 1911 over the glock.

I love my FNP 45 15+1 rounds of 45acp. and deadly accurate.

Highly underated gun. Soft shooting enough for a fairer signifigant other. And stupid accurate.

1911, cocked and locked is pretty fast and accurate with that important first shot.

I have a g21 for daily carry, than I got a g21 3rd gen with a good light and laser for the nightstand, but try both and use what works best for you.

I ordered the G21 with the OD frame yesterday. Hopefully it will be in soon. The biggest reason for going with a Glock was that I got the discount. Night sites and 3 mags for $525 is a deal that I couldnt pass up. Ammo wont be an issue since I reload .45 for my Dad's G30. Im starting to see an advantage to standardizing calibers and firearms.

Good call. I carry a G21 on duty w/ a TLR-1 & have a Kimber Warrior w/ TRL-1 for the bedroom.
