Nice Warwolf. Everyone that has a Guncrafter online seems to like them. I have never seen one in the wild.My Guncrafter Industries longslide X2 in 9mm.
Which model is that? Did you change out more than the grips?

Did you fit the magwell in yourself or hire it out? I have read that they can be a challenge on LBs.Just grips and put a magwell. Its a UTC carry I think ive posted it before in plain jane form. The regular grips are super thin. Not good for my XXL hands.
After seeing all these 1911. Last year I took my RO to AllenM and had him work his magic on it. This has about 3,000 rounds after all of Allen’s work. Thanks CM for encouraging me.View attachment 85558
I love the 1911. How does the Kimber compare to SA?
You'll hear it both ways - as with many things, it's a matter of personal taste, honestly. I own 90+ 1911's. 10-12 are Kimbers. One is a SA.

Are you on Texas Gun Talk....sister site to us.
Early Kimbers I like.
Newer ones are not up to the price point IMHO.
I have also had a few issues with SA of late. Pick your poison.

Yessir.....same screen name - so you've likely seen some of the collection.<G>
I'll agree to an extent - especially all their fancy finishes - none of which are holding up. I've got a number of their early guns, includin' a Clackamas that several have tried to sweet-talk me out of....lol Then again, it's VERY rare for me to buy ANY gun new.
