I have a Kimber Raptor and love it, except that 1911's are a pain in the ass to disassemble and clean (compared to my XDM for example).

yes thats them....had them on my Gold Cup went but to the colt grips....bought the Kimber and put them on it......

So I Finally picked up my new RIA compact yesterday!

Brought it home and put on some new grips and a cheapo bolt on magwell for now, till I can get a better one.

Got to take it out today with some fellow INGOers to make sure it functioned properly, and it did.

The only problem I had was hitting the targets , and that was my fault... I really need alot more practice!!!

Yep, very nice wood. I love wood grips on my pistols and revolvers.

Yeah, those grips are beautiful! They look almost 3-D. Definitely wouldn't want to checker them.
