Got pulled over for speeding on 96th street right near the water treatment facility (did you know it's 35 on the north side of 96th?). I was absolutely speeding, no question. When the officer asked me if I had a reason, I simply said "I wasn't paying attention, sorry." He asked for my license and registration, and since I was going to have to put my hand RIGHT NEXT to the gun between the seat and console, I went ahead and mentioned it, and the fact that I had a license. His response was "That's fine, just don't make any sudden moves towards it. I don't usually have to worry about the guys that tell me about it." He didn't even ask to see my license. The rest of the stop went without incident, and I was on my way with a warning. First time I've been stopped since I started carrying, and Officer Lytle was a complete professional IMO. I hate to say it was a positive experience, but it kinda was.
