Ordered a Garmin Xero C1 & some .22lr sub ammo.

They showed multiple in stock when I ordered, after 10 days I emailed asking when it will be shipped. Short story they did NOT have them in stock but blamed it on an inventory error with their supplier, may have some in a week or so but no guarantee.

Told them to cancel the entire order.

I have used them before for ammunition. They have been slow but I've always received the product.

during covid places like eBay & Amazon were especially bad at dropshipping.

there were actually two pricier items (backpacking related) that I ordered, went thru the process of refunding when they had “inventory issues”, but then, to my surprise, still received the item weeks after cancellation. And then had the seller reach out with an invoice asking to repay since I did get the item They were reported to eBay and removed, but unfortunately had my email information and spammed me like crazy.

all that to say, I sorta expect weird stuff every now & then with those marketplaces - but a business selling stock they don’t actually have & potentially burdening me with unexpected timelines, that’s silly. I’ve looked at their site before but probably won’t bother to again.
