I screwed up my PFI Compact Reflex RDS last week. The sight is several years old and probably past warranty. It was in need of repair so I contacted PFI via their online form and explained what the problem was and admitted it was my fault. I had over-torqued the battery compartment screw. The screw broke and the battery compartment lid. Within 30 minutes I had an email telling me to send it in for repair.
I packaged it up and sent it out on Friday morning with an expected delivery of sometime Monday. I figured it would take a day or two for them to look it over and call me with an estimated cost to repair and turnaround time. I tracked the package and saw that it arrived on Monday afternoon.
Today (Wednesday), I get the repaired sight back free of charge.
