Let me know of interesting places within 100 miles of Lafayette, I'm looking for pistol variety so places that just have 40 Glocks only are of no interest. Don't care about the chain stores, seen one, seen them...
So I'm lucky enough to have been able to bring home a Heavy 10 South Bend lathe and a Super 55 Index vertical mill over the past year. I'm finishing up my VFD powerboard to bring in 220V 3 phase, so I should have a small running shop here pretty soon.

I'm a young vet trying to start up my garage shop, and I need a mill! Focus would be on one-off or very low production in wax, aluminum, and some carbon steel.
Looking for a smaller machine, tabletop or a little bigger. Minimum would be X2-sized, bigger would be better. Don't think I can swing...

OK, so a quick question for our FFL holders who have shops... I'm assuming that all of the employees in a gun store do not need to have an FFL... is this correct? If the employee does not hold an FFL, I'm assuming that they can sell a firearm, just cannot do the final sign-off on it?
