White House tweaks post-2014 Afghanistan role - CNN.com
I guess the president did not feel the need to consult congress or anything. Just a policy shift made quietly on a Saturday afternoon. Nothing to see here folks.
Looks like there will be no real pullout of American troops from Afghanistan after all. We'll be there wasting lives and money for as long as the political class and their military industrial complex masters can make it happen. Or until the Taliban overruns everything and kills off everyone...
This is ridiculous. We hear of cut backs in our military forces, but BHO continues to support our enemies. I'm so tired of seeing our tax dollars being spent on "helping" countries that hate us for who we are. Something has got to change soon before those who hate us take more action against...
Does it make sense for the U.S. to continue borrowing money from China to keep China's neighbor in check? China does not have much experience in peace keeping, and as the article points out, past military interventions have not been successful.
Why China is likely to get more involved in...
That's an exercise of some really poor judgment on the part of the soldiers. I cannot imagine all the **** they have gone through on the ground but I think it speaks poorly of our leadership overextending our soldiers past the point of making good judgments.

Voters will have to wait to find out Herman Cain's foreign policy until after the election... because nobody, including Herman Cain, knows exactly what he's planning to do. His best answer -- even on simple questions -- is that he will need to surround himself with advisers who will tell him...
This just makes me want to vomit. Really.
A man spends his life in defense of civil liberty and freedom; spends years serving his nation, in some of the most 'hellish' places on the planet...... and gets stabbed in the back for speaking the truth. With our shameful 'apologetic' foreign policy...

Sergeant denies killing Afghan civilians, admits to cutting off fingers - CNN.com
So, if the US keeps up its policy of not so covert war against Pakistan, or ratchets things up, American soldiers could well have another enemy at their backs. An enemy that the US has armed and trained. It's past time for the government to pack up their toys and come home. We're certainly not...
