Recently acquired a JC Higgins model 20 12 gauge. It will slam fire. Anybody know if this was normal for these like the 37 Ithaca or do I have a problem with this one?
I have the Sig version and have put the CW accessories performance kit in it. I think it improved the accuracy somewhat although it was pretty good originally. It's one of my favorite 22 handguns. It is finicky about ammo though. Runs great with CCI standard and a suppressor.
I don't know what happened to Will's but the guy that owned the Old Trading Post died. The good news is that new ones are opening up. There is a new building going up now on Hwy 41 between FT. Branch & Haubstadt. The guy has a web site up already (www.rightobeararms.us).
Thanks for the input & to you Chip for clarifying what we were doing. The ammo fed and ejected fine, I just think its important to know where your shot is going whether its at 7 yards or 20 yards.
Any one have an opinion on Hornady Critical Defense ammo? I bought some 40's for my carry and shot them through a Glock and a Sig this weekend. Didn't group near as well as HydroShoks.
The Old Trading Post in Oakland City is closed. The phone number for Allen's Guns in Princeton is 812 385 4269. Also in Princeton is Lance's Guns, 101 N Stormont St, Ph # 812 635 0532.
I have owned both the Kel-Tec and the LCP. Kept the LCP just because of a better feel and looks. Have shot about 150 rds thru it with no problems. Accuracy is pretty good out to 15 yds but the sights are really hard to see.
I have a whisper and it is very quiet with lead or PBA. I have the best accuracy with Crossman hollow points. I can easily shoot one inch groups at 25 yds.
I have a Remington model five which is excellent but is no longer made. However there is a Zastava Z5 imported by USSG which is the exact same rifle. Should be able to get one for under 300.
